First Tuesday of Every Month

Rhode Island Chapter Political Committee meetings are held every first Tuesday of each month at Sierra Club’s office at 17 Gordon Avenue, Suite 208 in Providence. The Political Committee meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and covers our legislative and political programs across the state.  All welcome.

Second Tuesday of Every Month

Rhode Island Chapter Conservation Committee meetings are held every second Tuesday of each month. We now alternate between the Newport Library and the Sierra Club’s office at 17 Gordon Avenue, Suite 208 in Providence. The March 11 meeing will be in Newport. The Conservation Committee meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and covers grassroots conservation activities across the state.  All welcome.

Across the United States cities are gearing up for the 52nd Annual National Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 16, 2008. Providence will be hosting its own press conference and festivities for Bike to Work Day.
